Part 1 Understanding the Heart

There's something very profound in Proverbs 4:23. It says “…above all else guard your heart. For everything you do flows from it.” That means the good things, the bad things,, the relationships in which we flourish…and even those that we walk away from. Everything we do flows from what is in our heart. With all the conversations around mental and emotional health – everywhere from the church to television – we should consider where those conversations truly begin, and that's in the heart.
